The KIDFIX III M and DUALFIX M i-SIZE expand on two popular ranges providing premium comfort and safety

July 2018 - Britax Römer, the leader in child mobility, has today announced the launch of its two new car seats, the KIDFIX III M and DUALFIX M i-SIZE. The latest additions to its ever-expanding offering are based on popular products and offer more comfort and flexibility to children and parents alike. They are available now and will be exclusively sold through UK retailer, Mothercare.

KIDFIX III M

The latest addition to the KIDFIX range, the KIDFIX III M is suitable from 15 – 36 kg (3.5 – 12 years) and has been designed to offer children a new level of comfort while travelling. It is based on the KIDFIX II XP SICT, one of Britax Römer’s most popular car seats to date.

Comfort for all

Engineered to become the most comfortable highback booster seat on the market, the KIDFIX III M’s ergonomic design is ideal for lengthy journeys. Its longer seating area with a soft front section offers an ergonomic leg position even for the tallest of children. The KIDFIX III M’s wider V-shaped backrest ensures a snug, cosy fit for children of all sizes, providing more space as the child grows.

Keeping safe

The additional comfort has not compromised the safety of Britax Römer’s latest car seat, with all features that parents have come to expect from their products. SICT technology offers superior protection to a child in the event of a side collision and the SecureGuard helps protect a child’s delicate abdominal area by adding a    forth contact point to the 3-point seat belt.

Looking smart

The KIDFIX III M has been designed with the fashion-conscious parent in mind and features a modern design with a black shell that looks sleek in any car.

The KIDFIX III M is available now at Mothercare with an RRP of £180 and is offered in Cosmos Black, Storm Grey and Moonlight Blue.

DUALFIX M i-SIZE 

Based on the successful DUALFIX i-SIZE which is suitable from birth, the DUALFIX M i-SIZE boasts all of the same award-winning features, but is suitable from 61 to 105 cm (3 months – 4 years). The introduction of the new seat aims to give parents more choice and better value for money.

The DUALFIX M i-SIZE was designed with Britax Römer’s renowned crash testing capabilities and adheres to the ECE R129 (i-Size) regulation, as well as the company’s stricter, internal safety standards. The car seat is Made in Germany – including engineering, crash testing and manufacturing – while its fabrics and covers are Made in Europe. 

Key features include:

• Grows with child – a variable seat size that can be adjusted to provide an optimal ergonomic fit up to 105cm 
• Multiple recline positions – for comfort in both rearward and forward facing mode
• Extended rearward-facing travel – from 61 cm to 105 cm (approx. 3 months to 4 years of age)
• Forward facing travel – from 76 cm to 105 cm (15 months – 4 years)
• 360° rotation capabilities – easing the child’s entry and exit to the car
• Adjustable rebound bar – can be adjusted for more legroom in rearward-facing mode
• Padded side wings and SICT - acting as a protective cocoon, absorbing forces from a side impact
• Five-point harness – with soft neoprene performance chest pads to enhance comfort and reduce movement in a collision
• Easy installation - thanks to the ISOFIX with Pivot Link system and height adjustable foot prop

The DUALFIX M i-SIZE is available now at Mothercare from £350 and is offered in Cosmos Black, Wine Rose, Moonlight Blue, Storm Grey and Blue Marble.
